Melody Gersbach Dies in a Car Accident

Melody Gersbach the Bb. Pilipinas International 2009 and a top 16 finalist in last year's Miss International died in a car accident around 11 am, of August 21, 2010 in Bula Town, CamSur when she was heading for Naga City to grace Miss Bicolandia Pageant. Melody Gersbach who also happens to be a Miss Bicolandia before, together with her make-up artist Alden Orense and her driver was riding a Toyota Innova when the said car collided with a passengers bus. Report said that the passenger bus was trying to overtake a tricycle when it hits the car of Melody Gersbach. The three died on the spot. The driver of the said passenger bus was identified as Wilson Pontillas, surrendered to the police in the nearby Pili Town. Melody Gersbach body will be flown from Albay to Manila to lie in state at the Holy Mary Funeral Chapel for one night, sources from her family. The body will be taken to Angeles City on Friday and be buried on Saturday according to the said source.
